Just b4 he waz made captain, the attitude n mind set waz of sheeps, but he waz the guy who taught TEAM India how to stand n perform how 2 win. His contribution is more than the combined effort of sachin n dravid bcoz the its not only individual achievement but a chain reaction to the team to win. His leagcy will be passed from his prodigy who r today's stars-Uv, Bhaj, Zak, Pathan, dhoni,Kaif n plenty who r directly inspired by this great captain. To me his is above Imran of Pakistan.

He's like the kohinoor diamond...you only have one such the entire world and the charisma surpasses the boundaries of time...just like it continues to enchant us even today, Dada was a hero and will forever remain a hero for what he did for the uplift of Indian cricket. What i liked about dada most was that if anyone looks at his captaincy records then you will see the percentage of victory on foriegn soil and also dada's records on foreign soil. this is where he prooves that he is a bengal tiger. where ever a tiger goes he remains a tiger. and if u injure a tiger and leave him alive then he becomes more deadly. exactly dada prooved this theory! he was dropped but came wid a band scoring century in kolkata and doubled it in bangalore that also against the pakis

He changed the destiny of Indian cricket forever. He made the team we see today, brash, unafraid, aggresive, combative, fierce, tough.
These were things which were missing in Indian cricket before him.
All the players who epitomize that today, are Ganguly prodigies.
