Kate: hey. Joe and i already talked about this. *starts eating cereal*
Km: do you still have that crush on him?
Kate: *rolls her eyes* i dont like him like that. i love Joe. but as a friend. Were better off as friends. *lies*
Km: hunny i can tell when your lying. now hurry up and finish eating. you gotta meet Joe at your spot.
Kate: oh right. *runs out the door*
Kates POV
When Joe and i were little we would always argue about where to meet. We suggested the park but it was to far away from our house. Than we kept suggesting more places until finally we said the park bench corner. There was a different park right across from our houses and it had a bench that we carved our names into. we have always met at the spot since grade3. its never changed. I sat down on the bench than i saw Joe come outside. He looked great as usual. Than his jaw dropped. i started giggling.

Joe: you look beau- uhh... you look great.
Kate: uhh.. thanks. *feels awkward* you look great to.
Joe: *feels awkward to*
Kate: lets get going..
Joe: right..

what wrong with us? ive never felt so awkward with her before. turn on the smooth charm. make her laugh.

Joe: grade 10.... highschool....wow. *laughs*
Kate: *giggles* yeah. im kinda nervous though.
Joe: we have eachother. it will be okay. *smiles*

Joe and i made up this game where you would look at people lisence plates and find double numbers or letters. Than you would have to punch someone.

Kate: double w!! *starts laughing* i love saying that.
Joe: *laughs* theres the school. theres lots of kids there...
Kate: is someone nervous? *teases him*
Joe: *laughs* ........maybe.

Joe: HEY!! YOU SAID YOU WOULD NEVER CHEAT!
Kate: come on slow poke!!!
They ran to the school straight to the office. they picked up their schuedules and found out they only had 4 classes together.
Joe: no!!
Kate: darn.
Joe: at least we still have some together.
Kate: yeah. lets go find the rooms.
Joe and Kate went all over the school finding their rooms so they wouldnt get lost. Than the bell ring. they had their first class together so they started walking upstairs.
Kate: im glad its only 2 classes today.
Joe: but tomorrow it will be a regular day.
Kate: yeah i know.
Joe: are we still babysitting frankie tonight?
Kate: yeah.
Joe: okay.
They walked into the classroom and sat beside eachother. it was their math class. Kate was great at math. Joe on the other hand wasent. The teacher walked in the room and everyone started to be quiet.
Mr.Gill : my name is Mr.Gill. i will be your math teacher. this year we will learn about...*blah blah blah*
While kate was paying attention Joe passed her a note. it said " IM ALREADY BORED!"
kate let out a little giggle.
Mr.Gill: ahhh... Kate is it?
Kate: yeah......
Mr.Gill: if you dont have the need to pay attention in this class than im guessing your really smart in math?
Kate: well... i ca-
Mr.Gill: here. do this math equation. * 2(3x+45)+76(4x+87)
Kate examined the equation...
Kate: x=54? ( A.N i just made that up by the way )
Mr.Gill: umm.... yes. wow.
Joe: WOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOOO KATY!!!!!!!!!
Mr.Gill: Joe....
Kate: *giggles*
She thought this highshcool year with joe was going to be different. a good different.
