Video of a large pod of dolphins not far off the coast of Newport, RI.The video was shot Saturday, November 7th, at about 8:45 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. from Castle Hill out to Brenton Reef, Newport, RI. Ted Hayes was fishing for tautog aboard Capt. Tim Flaherty's boat, Fishfinder1 when a large pod of dolphins put on a show. There must have been between 200 to 300 dolphins. Video was shot by Ted Hayes, Newport This Week Editor, on an iPhone 3GS and edited by Jason Calvert.

  • i was tautog fishin off of fort adams on the shore when this pod came through and headed out 2 brenton reef. They were chasin silver sides when i saw them
