What a nice clip. William Haines (or Billy as he was called by his friends) was a man and actor way ahead of his time. He gave up a acting career for his love of his life, Jimmy. I often read that William Haines was drafted in WWII. Does anyone know what branch of the military he served. What about him being gay and serving in the military at that time.
