train like mad your hip flexors, make your movement from plantar-flexion dorsi-flexion as good as possible and look up destorm's videos about getting a better vert abs and pushups... you will get some good ideas for training! btw train like mad your shoulders! you will get an extra or two inches when you take off only by shoulders!!! and finally, whatever you manage to do over two legs have it as a goal to do it off one leg... that wway you double your results!!! and well, here's your vert prog!

@liudxdx personally i believe the squat story cause my standing vert is now about 31 inches and before doing squats it was 26... and i squat about 110 kgs max (im 73 kgs) so i have way to go... always be safe and have a spotter.... also do some leg press but try to do it correctly (do not lock knees) but also explosively on the pushing way.... and any other leb exercise! strengthen your lower legs (calves tibialis ant. etc) so you can have a good take off... finally, if you haven't...

@liudxdx you should do one legged jumps and if you can use added weight sometimes it is better... there are a lot of more or les explosive plyos out there in the net but rope, extra weighted jumps and squat jumps are the best for me, they give you whatever you may need: power, agility and endurance all in one! also hit the weight room hard twice in a week at least and build up your squat up to 175% of your bodyweight (technically with that much power and a lean body you may get a 45 inch vert

@liudxdx im 5,65 ft tall (1,73 m) and white (for those who say white ppl haven't got ups)
as to what plyos you should do, well, always start with either 60-100 jumps or 5-10 min jumping rope when you do plyos and then move to squat jumps and jumps with aprox 5-8 kgs of added weight (better in a weighted vest than ankle weights! also if you got strong knees and want good fast results do some sprints with ankle weights but be careful, you want to ha ve those knees until you re mid 30! finally...

@alejandrothefader oh well ill be fine i think cos i train like mad every summer too, but i only tried to build my upper body, and this summer ill train legs too, and do you know any good plyos i can do lol wow so i think ull be able to dunk next year since ur 16 now lol btw how tall r u?

@liudxdx great gains come in your age man, you re about to get great results... you ve finished growing up so you can take it heavy on weights also! im 16 and i got great results by lifting and plyos! and yeah, training intensively in the summer could lead to two things, either you dying by heart atack or sunstroke or improving hella lot your vert! i train like mad every summer! happy flights!
