The London Rock & Roll Show the first ever rock concert at Wembley
and I was there with my then girlfriend, Fiona. A young Mick Jagger was backstage. Bo Diddley, Heinz, Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Screaming Lord Sutch and Bill Haley & The Comets were also on the bill.
Fiona's picture was on the front page of the Sunday Telegraph the next day.
Anyone interested in the full DVD of the concert buy from www.caimazone.co.uk

  • Hey, where's old Fiona now? She looks hot! (Also, it looks a little odd the way the Killer is pulling up his trousers. I always tug mine up at the waist, not the crotch. Wonder what he was thinkin'?)

  • No idea! I was hoping she might find this one day and get in touch (and yes she was hot - very hot!!). Nylon trousers - all the rage at the time!! Tough on the nuts though.

  • I was there too aged 15

  • i honestly cannot understand anyone liking this guy, he is mediocre at best

  • hee hee hee, teddy boy dancing, so funny! they can never do it in time to the tune! always the same, some things never change! long live r&r

  • 1:06 where can i learn to dance like that

  • he's still musically EXCELLENT, kinda sad that he didn't shake around and go crazy, or smile

  • This man never failed to put you on a show along about 1957 or 1958 when he got up on the piano and sung HIS songs for 15 or 20 minutes it was 10 times better than these and then he spent almost that much time pumping his piano and singing . You could not be stil and hear him play.Saw him several times over the years -he is a great showman and you got your moneys worth. A few people imitate his playing but can't sustain his playing style long. What a talent . An old FAN-- Ed

  • Ahh remember it well..Jerry Lee arrived late for the show rumoured to be having a drink at the black raven...well worth waiting for though..great performer..

    thanks for the post..

  • does anyone have film footage of "billy fury" when he played at this concert..would be great to see it?
