Yup, Monki got it right on the nose. It's quite funny...some people who don't know what the 'Murder Trilogy' is, think that Midnight Show is a song about sex. Like the line, "I've got a blanket in the back seat on my mind". The blanket, however, is what he's using to wrap the body in. Creepy!

I believe leave the bourbon is why he did it, she cheated on him
Midnight show is him actually killing her then hiding the body... he says she's guilty and that he "took her breath"
Then Jenny is, quite obviously, his interrogation
One theory is that he wanted to discuss the break up and the discussion didn't go well and he strangled her then dumped her body in the ocean ... just a theory though
