I love this song! My maternal grandfather's uncle wote the music. My mom (a Harline) remembers once when she was a child, uncle Leigh came to one of their Harline family reunions and played the piano for everybody.

Yes it is. But this song was and still is covered and performed by many singers in the world, and this is one of those renditions, but when you wish upon a star is cliff's song, as judy's over the rainbow.

Nope. This is the genuine voice of Johnny Mathis. Came off one Johnny Mathis and Henry Mancini album as well as The Global Masters.

I think you're way off base on this. In this song Johnny uses a magnificent technique of dropping from one distinct note to another. It's as if a voice coach said "give me a G, now an F, now an E ..."
This is what really distinguishes this particular song. I guess some people have no ear for music.
