Is this a real type of Chinese theater? I like it a lot.
-
What is call this song? please
-
This is Yue's people song of Chu kingdom. It is likely to be a folk song of some pre-Sinicized ethnic people in Yangtze river area during the Warring States period.
In this scene, the song is sung in Mandarin, a language which modern form had not appeared more than a thousand year later.
