Coney Island 2000

My visit to the old neighborhood in June of 2000.
UPDATE 01/11/2009: After all these years, the copyright holder of "It's A Beautiful Morning" by The Rascals made me pull the soundtrack. To be fair, I don't think it is the Rascals, as being New Yorkers themselves, they probably wouldn't have minded my use of the song. It really captured the neighborhood in the 1960s. Anyway, I substituted Brahms "Academic Festival Overture In C Minor" from YouTube's approved library. It adds a little oomph, I think. Enjoy.

FEH!,Coney island is finished,like much of B'Klyn, projects destroyed any`hood they were built in, I grew up in crown hts/bed.stuy; & area went downhill after projects opened[`50's]..what can WE say?..it's the truth!
