  • That's a good question. Mine (2006 model) had the exploding battery problem, the warped lid problem, the lid popping open problem, the screen-whine problem, and the flickering screen at full bright problem.

Other than that, it's been okay.

  • I wasn't aware that Apple manufactures lawn mowers.

  • I thought 2 stroke motors are now phased out??

  • Oww, that fan needs a doctor!

  • omg! the same thing happend to me

  • hmm someone riding a tiny motorcross bike inside the speaker

  • @0hNoNotHimAgain

so what happened, my mac has all of what you decscribed.. what was the problem with the fan

  • sounds like my thinkpad fan

  • This might be covered in the NVIDIA Settlement. The final hearing is Dec 20, 2010. Among us Macs; Dells and HP computers are also affected by this $ettlement.

  • Check out my youtube video. I think it's the dust on your fans. Unless you have SMC fan control set to max all the time, your fans will only turn on full blast when the processors are under load. If so, you need to perform the cleaning that I did.

  • @ejicon Are you sure about that ? And were do i put the lubrication in the fan ? because the fan is cover up . . . :S
