I got one for my 8 yr old ( and to increase the size of the family fleet), this boat rocks! Its the most stable sot I've ever been on thats this short. I anchored it up in Galveston bay in a gentle swell, and fished no problem. There are not many kayaks I would try to stand up in and fish. I have a 14ft 7in Liquid logic sot and wouldn't try to stand and fish- too much gear to lose if you tump.

I am planning on getting this kayak for bass fishing lakes and rivers. Do you think its stable enough to stand on in winds up to 20 mph? And is it roomy enough for a person up to 5"11, 210 lbs?

this yak is probably a little small for standing up in. For your height and weight would suggest looking at the larger SOT yaks from Wilderness Systems - Tarpon 120 series or Synergy 120 or 140's - similar designs but more stable and buoyant - they make specific angler models too.

Thanks for no adding music. I like the real sounds of being on the water.

thanks - you are right about the music - almost every sports video out there has a thumping, hip hop, rock groove overtop....
