ok, my question is completely innocent, I'm French and I just wanna know why did you avoid her music just because you thought it was yemenite ? I mean , what's the problem ? I know that since Israel was built in 1948, there were problems with all the territory around, but what's the harm to listen yemenite songs ? it's not like it means you have sided with a country or something

that is exactly how i feel. i had known about her for decades, but avoided her music, thinking it was yemenite, and therefore percussion-based. but then last year, when a friend introduced me to youTube, I one day accidentally stumbled upon ofra haza, and have been hooked ever since. she indeed has the most beautiful voice in the history of mankind, and truly is a sweet, adorable, pure, perfect, innocent, super-talented, perfect angel sent straight to us by G-d
