what are the rules for sparring in Taekyon?

I like how they happily beat eachother with no protection on. That's what you call manly.

@zakquack yes and that is my point. this style alone can't help shit. and if you gonna compare styles then just watch fact instead of saying traditional styles is better than modern... that is just stupid. its pretty obvious which style will win 99% of that time and the is the modern style of course. its base on everything you know before and added new things and has even took a quite a few things too, stuffs that just dosen't work.

@catha86 there's a difference between training and being dedicated. of course 90% is a made up statistic. 99% of statistics are made-up. but 9/10 people are not going to be in anywhere near the shape of a dedicated martial artist, no matter what style. Being in shape is more of an advantage than any other factor you could bring to a fight. as a martial artist, i respect all styles because when it comes down to it, styles don't make fighters.

@zakquack and you think you know that much by sying 90%... do you have any idea of how many people that actually train some sort of activities?? I'm pretty sure 90% is just stupid fact you made up. and you just can't accept it that this shit dosn't help you a lot in the street.
-
@catha86 you're a fool. being dedicated to any art will definitely protect you in a street fight. hell, you could be a dancer and be more prepared for a street fight than 90% of the people you will encounter. because of your dedication to a physical expression, your body becomes acclimated to being pushed. taekkyun is a beautiful art that has nuances that are clearly out of the range of your comprehension.

0:54 SO SLICK how he shoulder bumps him like that! Taekkyun is so beautiful!

@kero7642 than it proves I'm right even more if this only is a game version. The sad part is that some seriously believe this will protect them in a street fight. Not today anymore, not today. Just accept it that fight techniques have evolves and will continue to do so. If the old martial arts would be so effective today the new ones would have never been existed today. Some people can't understand that.

@catha86 i understand what your saying. this is just a game version. they do teach self defense in an organisation called gyeollyeon taekkyon. Do take in mind that this is half a martial art. initially, it was an art called subak. it split into two about 700 years ago into yusul and taekkyon. yusul being hand technique and taekkyon, kicking.
Catha I highly doubt your intelligence as you readily jumped to criticize an art you yourself have never touched. That is a mark of an idiot.
