Here's Ed Nunn about 14 weeks out from his pro debut - the 2009 Europa SuperShow. Ed took the Super Heavyweight the year before at the 2008 USAs and is now looking to claw his way to the top of the IFBB Food Chain.

  • @Pla426 Simply just wearing it helps to keep your waist smaller and tighter. Pros will use them on almost any lift.

  • @Pla426 yeah dude id say he just puts it on the whole time, i didnt see him take it off

  • @Pla426: it looks like his leg day so maybe he's wearing the belt for squats he will do later?

  • @Pla426 Ronnie coleman wore a belt with every workout for a whole year and when he stepped on stage his waste was an inch smaller than the previous year.

  • @Pla426 I'm not saying it isn't. You're "core" tightens up in doing any weight lifting. Just because he has a belt on doesn't mean he's not going to tighen up his "core". Him having a belt on while working his legs isn't going to make or break his physique. Now maybe if he was standing on a balancing ball jumping up and down that's another story. You're argument is just redundant because it's something so miniscule.

  • @Fickes Who's complaining? Making an educated statement, and clearly not hating on the guy, is not complaining.....you just may be a bit sensitive. Either way, good health to you.

  • @Fickes So, you think core musculature (that is more than just "abs" by the way) is not involved in sitting exercises....next time, try doing seated overhead presses with your gut completely relaxed and tell me how well you do during the movement. I would also be very interested on how you justify your statement that I am not an exercise physiologist, especially when you make a statement basically telling me is core musculature is not involved in a sitting movement.

  • @Pla426 Everyone always has to find something to complain about

  • @Pla426 When I said safety first I was joking. His "core" is getting weaker because he wears a belt when he's sitting down? Ok then he can do some sit ups to strengthen his "core". You're not an excercise physiologist. I know just from reading your comment.

  • Ed Nunn lookin' like Barry Bonds
