Solstice GXP vs Mustang GT

Jimmy racing a couple Mustangs at Ennis 1/4 mile track. The first race was his fastest time about 14.1, with a .1 reaction time which was awesome. My fastest time was 14.0, reaction time around .3

Does that solstice have a roll cage? cuz they dont let me drag here in florida without a roll cage..

@mrdiaz0108 no roll cage. Most drag strips out here go by the NHRA rules... if your convertable runs faster then 13.5 in a 1/4 it has to have a roll cage.

Both cars are american made, and quite slow buy either European or Japanese standards. Very boring cars!

@Tophairybutt They’re also slow by American standards. There was three GT500s there that day that were hitting high 9s and low 10s. That’s very fast by everyone’s standard, especially for a street legal car.  The solstice is better at home on a road course.

@Lamborghininman5150 , Well, lets see...a Corolla XRS, Toyota Supra, Honda Civic Si, just to name a few. My brother owns a ZR1, and my Lotus Elise would blow away his slow Corabeth away regularly on the race track. Oh by the way, the engine in my Lotus is a 1.8 liter Toyota engine. So you need to learn a few things about racing before you again make a fool of yourself.

@Tophairybutt You gotta be kiddin me Japanese makes the slowest stuff out of any country and European isn't much better. This is a 4cyl straight from the factory solstice, It can even take japans 4cyls not to mention all our v6's that are putting out more power and more mpg than those crummy 4 cyls. What in Japan can take a ZR1? thats right. Not to mention japanese cars really lack on looks
