The car is absolutely amazing! Went for a test-drive with my fiancé and even she (a passionate SUV hater) loved the Patriot! Going to pick up the car in the weekend! I've already ordered some aftermarket parts from the US, cant friggin wait!! :D

"cunt"-inuous Variable Transmission he says...lol. Anyway, I have one. It is great and that year still included the LIFETIME warranty on Engine and Transmission (Powertrain). Warranty on future models is still great 10/100,000. Anyone who doesn't offer that type of warranty I won't buy unless it is a super cheapy. When I buy a car for the first 5 years NOTHING major should go wrong. 20k/year is exactly what you drive on the West Coast if you get around.

@jiaweizheng1990 yes you should, i have an "urban" styled patriot, and i love it. also it still does well offroad as a 2wd. i def wont rock crawl, but it can make it. if you would like to see my patriot as i have it now i have some vids on my channel of it.

@noblejames111: Blame CA. Diesel's have a very hard time meeting CARB limits, and with so many states using CARB limits diesels get locked out of most states.
