@tdenusa I've been looking for the sheet music to this fugue in e minor by Nikolai Miaskovsky. It seems hard to find. You wouldn't know where to get a copy would you?
-
Oh! your a bit good aint ya!
-
it's tough up there on top of everyone, i guess
-
I like it on strings, but when played too quickly it loses its expression.
-
he sounds good any proffesional plays it this fast
-
It was a tad fast, and the reverb and lack of attack made it muddy, but the keyboardist has good technique. And at least he played a piece by Miaskovsky, who is obscure to most Western musicians.
-
You are correct. It should be played slower.

The reverb is a function of YouTube compression. You're right about the speed as it's too easy to get carried away with this piece. Since you liked 2 out of 4 aspects of it though I will take that as a compliment.

The choice of the instrument is more than tasteless. If we have to come to this after
800 years of research in acoustic instrumental sounds, then we have to admit our
state of decadence. The work itself is about
300 years behind it's time...
