Captain Schettino, was in charge of giving the evacuating orders to his crew and the passengers. Instead, of maintaining his post, and acting as the Captain of his ship, he ran to secure his own safety! He claims that he " was trying to get people to get into the boats in an orderly fashion. Suddenly, he tripped and fell into one of the lifeboats."

How convenient!?!?! Here's our take on a Jamaican Captain trying to defend what happened!!

We are in no way shedding light on the tragedy that occurred on board the Costa Concordia Ship, off Italy's north-west coast near the Island of Giglio. In our opinion, the captain was clearly negligent and he is full of excuses. He was asked on numerous attempts to return to the ship, and he was obviously only interested in saving his own life!

Our thoughts and prayers go out to those families who lost loved ones in this tragedy.
