  • We used the chainsaw for less than three minutes. We don't own or drive gas powered vehicles. The gas we used to help drive the point about composting, at the event was about half an ounce. Most of the power we use for our events is human powered, solar or otherwise sustainably produced. We considered that some might judge us, before we did that one small component of a large daylong event. We are guilty of using some gas. It was worth it. Will use a bicycle powered chainsaw next year!

  • Just used a gallon of gas to carve a pumkin with a gas powered chainsaw. Wow I look up to these environmentalist their really bright people.
