IM BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Back in the saddle as it were.........

I finally got a new dvd recorder and back posting old races from back in the day.
And i thought to mark this occasion lets post a full race in its entirety. The 1994 Bud At The Glen from Watkins Glen International in Watkins Glen, New York.

Mark Martin goes for 2 in a row at the Glen.
Also of note this was Ernie Irvan's last race before being seriously injured at Michigan and was nearly killed.
Also this was the first time for a Winston Cup broadcast that ESPN used the new purple graphics.

Welcome back!

Looking through the alternate forms of racing during the Speedworld intro, we see the big 3 American racing Championships: IndyCars, ISMA Camel GT Sports Cars, and of course NASCAR Winston Cup. Now that IndyCar racing is back together, hopefully something can be sorted out to join ALMS and the Rolex Sports Car Series.

Perhaps more importantly, I hope that all of American racing can survive this rough patch in the economy.

I would imagine that the title would of have come down to Atlanta if Ernie never had that crash?

Ah yes, "Back In The Saddle" the song that ESPN played to the point of annoyance in 2007 when they returned... The original version (like here) is so much better.
