My little brother was 10 years old in 1964 and I remember my parents giving him one of these trucks for Christmas that year. All the little kids in the neighborhood were crazy about this truck after seeing it in t.v. commercials. My 10 year-old cousin also got one of these that same Christmas, but I don't remember them playing with them for very long. I think the novelty wore off when the batteries wore out. LOL!!!

@glorybra Now that you mention it, that was one of the downfalls to the toy. Batteries did not last very long when you played with it all day.
