Haircuts

Part of a project I did with 5 other collaborators for my Collaborative Autobiographics class. We had to present something that was creative non fiction and deal with the idea of "where we came from" or aspects of our "origin".

We decided that the one thing that ties us all together as people and collaborators was all of our history with haircuts and how it has ironically shaped who we are today, as well as how much control "hair" itself has on a growing person. In order to represent this concept, all 6 of us wrote a personal true anecdote about an experience with hair, and or haircuts that was a changing point in our lives. Combined with audio and visual elements to fully create a mood and setting for each story to be shared, HAIRCUTS was made.

As a note while this video was being presented to an audience, Trevor ( the first haircut story/the guy with the beanie") was getting his haircut or rather shaved live onstage before an unknowing audience. The response was excellent.
