As a Canadian who knows the affect of the Halifax Explosion and the response of the people of Boston, we are eternally grateful. We say so every year in the form of a Christmas tree. This year it is our turn to return the love and respect. We love you Boston, you are one great city, with great people. You are an example to the rest of the world as to what true heroes are!

I was 17 years old when I heard this song on the radio, I loved it! I live in Brisbane,

Australia. It was always my intention to visit the USA and all these places in the song. I got chronic fatigue syndrome many years back and didn't fulfil my wish to travel.  But I've almost recovered now so maybe it's still not too late? Then there's the issue of safety now when you travel. My heart goes out to the people of Boston for what has happened. I wish them love and strength to get through this.

I think Boston will be a better city out of this tragedy. I'm from Boston. I lived there in Dorchester near the Roxbury line-Yes, I'm African American-I left the day I turned 9 to Western Ma-I lived in Burlington, Vt 2 years-I'm 51-served in the marines & TSA-I pray God will send a spiritual revival to Boston to Glorify Himself & people will love each other regardless of ethnicity-"Sin is the misery & ruin of the soul" Jonathan Edwards-Ct & Ma Puritan preacher in the 1st American revival in 1741

Ha, I'm 54, when I was 17 I left Jupiter Fl with a paper bag of clothes, shorts, tee-shirt, flip flops. Hitched to Boston to see 1st girlfriend, whom was just taken by cancer. I was up and down east coast from then til I was about 23-25. Married, but love to travel! o, hitched from Ct to seattle, LA, lived there for a year, but Im a Jersey boy and in a few months Ill be there for good!
