Monsieur JugerreRPG7, je trouve que vous avez une obsession assez laide avec les différences ethniques et raciales, laquelle a déséquilibré votre esprit. J'ai lu quelques-uns de vos commentaires--comme celui-ci--qui sont vraiment fous ! Si vous trouvez que Mimi est une raciste dégoûtante, la solution serait ne pas voir ses vidéos ! Il y a un aphorisme en anglais, que "L'homme qui dit fort et instamment que tout le monde est son ennemi sera prouvé d'avoir raison."

It beggars my imagination that anyone could find this talented singer, who mostly sings sweet songs of love or patriotic anthems not in the least bit xenophobic, objectionable. If, as some viewers aver, she is a throwback, then she is a throwback to a more civilized time when the vitriol directed at her would have been unthinkable! Again, thank you for your postings.

Yes Mimi is the eldest and shortest of the family because being born in 46 she went years without eating meat because of WWII. Yet there is no trace of bitterness or acrimony in her. A few oddballs bring that to these columns.Most of us simply bask in Mimi's Joie de vivre!

Dear kimbo99 (Steve): Thank you very much to you and Jim Witt for making these wonderfully entertaining videos of Mireille Mathieu available to the public. I've become quite a fan of Miss Mathieu over the past couple of months, thanks to your videos. (Before finding them on YouTube, I only had a dim memory of hearing her sing "Paris en colère" on a record brought in by my high school
French teacher, nearly 40 years ago.)---Continued above.

Je sous-titre ces videos. Une fois examinés de manière approfondie, la plupart des récits de chanson s'effondrent. C'est simplement une aventure joyeuse d'agitation avec Mimi pendant 3 minutes. Appréciez le bruit et la poésie et le sentiment.
