New A1 class 4-6-2 'Tornado' passes Biggleswade in the snow at the head of the up 'Talisman', running on the up slow line about 45 minutes late on its first main line run to London, 7th February 2009. Following hot on its heels is a class 91 electric on the up fast.

  • Strange how steam at 70mph is more exciting than electric at 125!

  • Hehe, Tornado silenced them all, just as some at about 0:23 goes 'wow', the whistle goes off. And then the Class 91 driver attempts to upstage them by sounding his own horn, although he fails totally. :)
