  • It's Bristol TN - when you show the certificate, it says "STATE OF TENNESSEE" and "BRISTOL, TN".

  • @elevatorsonly that is what sucks when one side of the street is VA and the other TN Thanks for pointing that out. i fixed the title..

  • BEAUTIFUL belt-driven pump. That's what makes a try hydraulic elevator.

  • Technically it is not, because the L, E, and W floors are half. So it measures out to 5 1/2 stories.

  • @elevatorgeek88 Nope. Traction should be 10-15+ stories and gearless. Geared and MRL suck.

  • on a two door elevator i like to show the floors that each door opens on. no, its broken at leveling. those mirrors make it fun.

  • the elevator at my school is a williams to!

  • I like the mirror :D Also the motor too :D

  • An 8-stop hydraulic. Impressive! What would make this better is if it only had one opening. The rear door makes it not as high as it seems.

  • This reminds me of a building that had mezzanines between all the floors. It was a 12 story building technically but with the mezzanines felt more like 15. The elevator buttons/indicator went something like this: Floor 2, M 2 Floor 3, M 3, and so on and so forth. Allows you to jam as much office space as possible in a building without making it too tall and thus saving costs.

  • I think elevators that are over 5 stories need to be traction instead of hydraulic because traction is more suitable for a 7 story and up building.
