A recent Article in the Chinese media praises Dr. Nie Wentao for his diabetic technology and concedes that the world is catching on. The Article states, "If it may be said that many opinions of Dr. Nie Wentao made him stand on the reverse side of the world, then today, the world stands on his side."

The Second Summit Forum of the "Healthy China" and National Conference on Diabetic Medicine and Life Education was held in Henan hotel. Summit Forum of the "Healthy China" is sponsored jointly by China Science and Policy Training Center, Wu Jieping Medical Foundation, China Life Science Association, China Association Of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In this summit of Zhengzhou, Present at the meeting were : Wang Minqing, former director of the Central Health Council; Ding Chengyao, vice president of China Life Science Association; Ji Guangqin, former director of the Central Institute for Discipline Inspection; Liu Ran, Vice Minister of the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the Chinese Peasants and Workers Democratic Party (CPWDP); Guan Changping, deputy secretary-general of Wu Jieping Medical Foundation; Han Wenxing, president of Healthcare Products Association of Henan Province; Wang Huishu, vice president of Association for Promotion of national health and others. Participants also included the leaders of local health and Drug Administration departments, hospital directors, diabetic specialists and representatives of diabetes.
