Displaying Posts to a Specific Page on Your Wordpress Website

The video tutorial below will show you how to add a page to your navigation menu. The page lists all of your blog posts and the page is called Blog. Basically, this is one way in which you can add a link to your blog on your Wordpress website. Keep in mind this is for a blog that is already a part of your existing Wordpress website. In a later video, I will show you how to add a link to your main navigation to a blog that resides on another website (such as Blogger or Wordpress.com).

how do you do this for multiple pages? say if I have a Videos page and I want all postsn displaying videos to appear only there. and maybe one for News, reviews etc etc I am lost on this. I can only have a front page and one post page?

@FELIXjk007 Hi Felix. One way to achieve what you are looking to do is to create categories for each page you want - Videos, News, and Reviews.

So, first step - create three categories and three pages - Videos, News and Reviews.

Third step: Download, install and activate the plugin called "Page Links To"

Fourth step: Locate the direct link for the videos category and copy the link

Fifth step: Edit the Videos page, paste the category link into the Page Links To box at the bottom.

I have different pages on my blog, when I change the reading link after posting on a specific page to a different p[age all the posts that Ive just put in to one page shift to the other page. What am I doing wrong???

This was very helpful, thanks! Do you have any advice on how to control which blog posts go to which pages? I am using my Wordpress as a CMS for a sort of portfolio that has different categories (furniture, artwork, accessories, etc.), and i want to be able to specify which post goes to which page, but i ALSO want to use it as a BLOG as well, so I want to have a separate BLOG page....Any advice would be most appreciated, as I am struggling with this!!

how do you leave the post permanently on a certain page?...because when i change the reading link it shifts the post to a different page. ..for example...i want to post a video to my video page...so i choose "video" in the reading link....But then when i change the reading link let say to "news" then the videos trnasport to my news page and my video page becomes empty...can u please help me!?

@DarleneVictoria Hi Darlene, thanks for the wquick reply. In step four and five, the 'direct link' is this the URL or 'slug'? where do I copy it too? I have the plugin activated but I don't see a settings box or how to add past pages to my category? can I PM you the site URL to see what I mean? you can see the menu bar has no posts? but in there are 1200 posts over all categories. some of the categories have static page such as 'contact us'
