Upside is the uplifting, epic new single from Kano and prelude to the London lyricist's forthcoming album opus, Method To The Maadness.

Upside's blissful, string-soaked choruses give way to soaring verses in which Kano rips through dizzying, rapid fire, reference-rich rhymes with swagger and panache. The song also features vocals by South African born Michelle Breeze of recently formed band Why Why Peaches whilst Craigie Dodds helms the production.

Upside follows hot on the heels of Kano's digi-dancehall banger Get Wild featuring Aidonia and Wiley, and is an early taste of his fourth long player, Method To The Maadness. Scheduled for a 30th August release, the album sees Kano surpassing the already sky-high standards set by his previous output with his most accomplished, definitive offering yet. The musical tour de force also features contributions from several notable names, including; Boys Noize, Hot Chip, Chase & Status, Damon Albarn and is certain to cement Kano's status as a major British talent.

@TheBoyAndTheBall I really wudnt call dis grime. It aint much like his old tracks is it. I think Kanos startin to let fame get to his head. He used to be better in my opinion. Ps & Qs was tunee. This track don't really sound like his old music.
