Ford Evos Concept - general views

Making its global debut at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show in September, the Ford Evos Concept represents the ultimate expression of Ford's new global design language, and explores key future powertrain and vehicle technologies.

Created as a bespoke concept vehicle, the fastback introduces Ford's first truly global design language as the momentum of the company's One Ford product plan continues to build.

"The Ford Evos Concept unites three key elements which are at the core of our One Ford global product strategy: outstanding design, smart technologies and fuel economy leadership," said Derrick Kuzak, group vice president of Global Product Development.

"With its compelling design and innovative technology experience, this is a clear demonstration of the exciting vision we have for the Ford brand. While you will never see this car on the road, the next generation of Ford products around the world will display many of the distinctive design ideas and advanced technologies it showcases."

@DMVchillen Dude, do you thing absolutely any car manufacturer uses every single bolt made from metal that came from the earth on that country's soil and has the workers from that country and that country only design and manufacture it with absolutely no foreign help. European, Japanese, Korean and Americans all intermix and they have been doing it for years before you were even born and will continue to do it.

I think EU Ford is covard a bit. Look at Amrican Ford what amazing cars are they doing there!!! EU Ford ambitions are just family cars... what a shame the forget about sports Sierra and luxury Scorpio, they were Amrican Ford cars class. why are all these 'american' brands trying to look like the last year's japanese cars? this looks like a mazda...which makes sense because ford and mazda teamed up before. and ford uses some of mazda's platforms in their cars.
