The new Tesla roadster is about to be released, and here is a short video clip taken at their facility in San Carlos, CA. Check it out when the car takes off...it hardly makes a sound.

  • no sound?

sportscar lovers love to hear the rpm symphony!

besides, tesla design is a knock off the Lotus Elise

  • I agree on the no sound part, but it isnt a knock-off. Tesla partnered with Lotus for some parts and redesigned the Tesla so its easier to get in and out of, among other things.

  • Groundshaking loud... ._.

  • hmmm i think the oil companies that have trillions run to lose in the long run are more worried then our million dollar cave dweller named ben ladin.

  • lol sounds like a broken water tap!

  • excellent work!

  • Something obviously went wrong in September 2009. Did they cause Sumatra? Did Zelda fan Susie Sahim take the fall because George Hwang was instructed by Larry Page and Sergey Brin to include the symbolic Triforce symbols? Ask The Three Musketeers of Tesla Motors. Oh wait... they died in Palo Alto and their bodies were burned beyond recognition while the city was in chaos soon after that.

  • Yakutat Bay, Alaska, USA (1899,September 3 and 10)

The largest vertical surface displacement caused by a single event occurred in this uninhabited region. The second of two earthquakes thrust underwater rocks 47 feet 4 inches (14 meters) above the sea. The Yakutat Glacier, which had been sliding downhill for almost 50 years, suddenly went in the opposite direction. The Hubbard Glacier broke and sent huge ice chunks into the bay. 150 miles away, the Muir Glacier shattered and began to retreat.

  • you would be savin a ton money either way if you buy an EV

  • Well GM is still pushing the ICE in EREVs aka The Volt. See conserving the parts and service business model is what has always been at stakes for GM.
