I agree with you, even for Nadal to climb his way back up will knacker his knees again. His body just cant take it and its telling him. I hope he listens. he is too young to need knee replacements. There is a life after tennis......I hope he is careful

No, Andy is back on the hard surface, the one he loves, be a different Andy here.
Nadal has done what he can, but his body is slowing him down now and the punishment it will take wont help. He wont have a long career....his knees cant take the pounding. Plus with his drop in the rankings he will be playing more sluggers, all wanting to have the Nadal scalp on their CV's.

Well its part of the game to mange your health and limit injury. Nadal has known for a while his type of game was knackering his knees, he continued. He is now paying the price. At the age of 23, his knees are done. Not sure if the fight to the final will allow his body to do much more now. It will just get harder and harder for him. The will is great but its the body which will stop him.

Nadal's knees are stuffed to put it mildly and it will be a huge effort to get back to the no.1 spot. Murray is on a roll, can beat Del Potro and potentially could win the US. Open.

It crushes me to see Nadal like this. Murray vs Roddick final i reckon, and i hope to see a repeat of what happened @ Wimbledon!!!!
