Debate Trinitarian vs Biblical Unitarian (Brant Bosserman and Sean Finnegan) full length

I am not a Biblical Unitarian, they however are very close to my faith. Presented by Brant Bosserman and Sean Finnegan at the One God Conference, in Seattle, WA on June 1st 2008. The debate explored the question, "Is God a single individual (the Father of Jesus) or is he a Trinity (three persons in one essence)?" Why is it the trinitarian on the defensive? Usually the person on the defensive is the one who has no proof to hi/her argument. If I were debating the trinitarian perpective, or any perspective, I'd use the scripture as proof, and evidence. Why do people get so offended and defensive? It's a debate. Using ones personal understandings of beliefs is not proof. The scipture is clear of Yeshua/Jesus nature and person, let that be the proof not A.D. 325

@TheTruthPastor Because Nothing the Unitarian believes is denied! Jesus was 100 percent human! It is the extra claims he was God also which needs to be proved!

Seems like that one yayhoo was already debating before it even started. He should zip his lip and let the debate begin instead of bullying the other guy. Just my opinion.

these are the mysteries that have beed hid from rthe time of creation that pauls speaks about. the problems starts when we starts saying that the bible does not mean what it says.

@Hoogz20 the Father is the original creator but the son is whio creats. this is not saying that the father created the son, just how we cannot say the Adam created Even. she came to be by a diferrent proces likewise the son was not created, he came about by a diferent process.

Adam is the only true man as the Father is the only true God but that does not means that the woman is not man or the son is not God.

@Hoogz20 the big confusion today is that most people does not know that God is not the father's aor Son name. God is a title not a game, it is speaking about kind. it is saying God kind. the father and the son are God kind. that is all it refering to. God called the man and the woman man when they were created. but within the man kind there are 2 distink beeings. they bot have the same title but have diferent names and funtions.

d man is the original creator but the women is who creats.

@Hoogz20 the old and the new testament cals jesus the son of God. a son takes his father name. a son is not equal with his father any more that you are equal with your father but you are still call by your father's name none the less.

in the old testament God is calles Ellohim, this means Gods not God. there is also a word for God which is EL. EL is always refering to the Father, the bible does not mix them up so we know why it is refering to.

@Hoogz20 the bible does not describs Jesus as the same as teh father. but it does say that he is God as well, even though the father is the God of the son, not the other way around. but does this say that jesus is not God, no it does not say that at all. the woman is not equat with man iether. that that say that she is not a man kind? no it does not. she is a man kind as well even though she is not equal in the send of authority.

@Hoogz20 some say that there is only 1 God some say it is 3=1 ans others say it is 1=3.

the bible says 2=1 but only in purpose. just like a man and woman is 1 in purpose.

they are not one being as some would try to have us believe.

in my video called ("we are created in the image of God") i clearly demonstrate this beyound any doubts.

there is a reason why Eve was created from Adam. God did not just threw darts to see what he would created next. it was premeditated for a reason.

@folder505 OK haha for a second i thought you were appealing to the "truth" of evolution in order to validate your trinitarian beliefs. Apparently you aren't even a trinitarian but i have to say that there is only one God, my friend. Not two. I do understand what you're saying about the family structure but keep in mind that we are also in Christ as He is in the Father and so we are also in the Father. Are we gods? No! God is the head of Christ, Christ the head of man who is the head of woman.

@Hoogz20 people will always try to say that if you dont believe the Holy Spirite is Gos then you do not believe the Father and Son are God. this is sad. i can pro that Jesus and the father are Gods, and i can also prove that the Holy Spirit is their Spirit.

no one can consistenly prove with out getting confused that the Holu spirit is God as well.

I go into great depth to explain this. There is only 2 Gods that the bible mentions.

In the creation of the human family God has given a glimpse of the Godhead structure.

The bible clearly teaches there is only 2 Gods (the Father and the Son) the other God we created is an hypothesis. It is bases on human reasoning.

The Holy Spirit is the confuter, he is Christ representative. He represents them, he is not them.

He belongs to them, he does their wills.
