Capitalizing on his fame as the star of "Hogan's Heroes," Bob Crane dove into the freewheeling spirit of the 60s and 70s with relish, having affairs with numerous women. Eventually, Crane teamed up with video technician John Carpenter to document his exploits, an association that may very well have led to his murder in a Scottsdale, Arizona motel room in 1978, which remains officially unsolved to this day.

  • Greg Kinnear did a fan-f*cking-tabulous job as Bob Crane. I watched Hogans Heroes when I was a kid and he totally makes me suspend my disbelief in this role.

  • Bob Crane, Hollywood's original gigolo!

  • Klink is taller than Hogan LOL

  • The wife looks a bit like Jamie Lee Curtis does she not? Very 70s.

  • the woman playing his wife is rita wilson, tom hanks' wife

  • prisoner of war camps were not concentration camps

  • Part 3?

  • If they ever make a bio movie of Robert Caro, Ron Leibman should play the lead. On the other hand, Caro and Leibman are about the same age so... not going to happen. But wow, he looks just like him!

  • Greg Kinnear and William Defoe make you feel the ickyness of this decadent lifestyle and its downfall of life as we know it. I remember Greg Kinnear from Talk Soup- He was hilarious. Amazing how people who excel in comedy can also do a 360 and do the opposite roles such as this one. "oh, with the funny nazis"-Even he questioned the show's content and possible ruin of his career.

  • Let's make a televison comedy based on one of the most horrific wars in history. MASH was a comedy, but they also showed some pretty intense episodes and you saw that they used humour to deal with the death war causes. And yes, it was the Korean War, not WW2- I don't need to be corrected and accused for saying stupid shit.
