can anyone tell me how you get a working dvd player on a clamshell, i have the blueberry, and im upgrading it from 10.3 pnather to 10.4 Tiger,
is it the dvd driver software you need, or is it a actual hardwear deal?

It does not have the decoder in the video chip. Replace the logic with one that has the fire wire port like from an Indigo. All FW models have the 8 meg video chip and the DVD decoder.
