You're Not Alone! (Old Version)

Before I continue, I wanted to get something out of the way. If you guys watched this video:

then you probably read a description of how this could have gone. No matter how much I might have filled up Zidane's trance bar in disc 1 and 2, getting Zidane zombied in the Iifa Tree erases his trance. Since I kept Zidane at level 1, that would be the last attack that Zidane could survive to get more trance until the Shell Dragon battle. So to get his trance gauge this full, I would have to get into a battle with some weak monsters and fill Zidane's trance gauge 3/4 full or almost full, depending on if you want to keep the eidolons unflagged or not. I personally used a battle near Dali against 3 Pythons.

The Amdusias and Abadon battles go pretty much the same as they did. They are about as good as they can be anyway.

The money shot is with the Shell Dragon battle, which was just awesome. Shell Dragon did everything right, and the battle ended in just 3 rounds. Garnet didn't get KOed once to boot. The only downside is for those who care about keeping Eidolons unflagged. I do not care about that, as I don't see how you are missing anything by keeping them unflagged.

But other people do, and that can easily be fixed by having the trance bar a little less full. Have Zidane attack once, then use healing items to bring it's HP up to more than 9,999 but less than 10,080, which would probably take 2 Hi-Potions and 1 Potion (or if you've had Garnet master Chemist, just 1 Hi-Potion from her). Then use Solution 9, KO Zidane and have Garnet just attack. It would take a bit longer, but still be pretty quick.

And if you notice the saves, this is about 5 minutes faster than my other videos. :-)
