The Tri-Cities is centrally located among all of the metropolitan areas of the Pacific Northwest.

We encourage you to take advantage of our ten premier golf courses, dozens of award winning wineries, museums, first-class shopping and abundant water recreation. The Tri-Cities average over 300 sunshine filled days per year making it a haven for outdoor enthusiasts.

  • Love the video, however, according to the Hanford weather history since WWII, we average 184 days of sun, not 300.

  • @Robdromgoole - thank you for the comments! I'm so glad you like the video. A number of years back, one of our fabulous Tri-Cities residents marked the days we had sunshine on his calendar every day for one year...and he found that we have more than 300 days of sunshine per year! We'll have to be sure to do this experiment again in the near future to compare our findings!

  • One of my most favorite Tri Cities Washington videos. In fact, we've included this in our 'favorites' section of our Channel page. You guys rock! :)

  • @tricitiesvcb Talk to the PNNL weather expert, they have data for the past 60+ years. They can e-mail you the data. Our issue is that candidates hear that 300 figure and challenge us when it is less than that. It sets false expectations is all.

  • very nice vid. although broadmoor is not a shopping hub anymore and hasnt been for quit awhile. I wouldn't put it in a video as a shopping destination.

  • Represent! I was born and raised in the tri-cities, and it is a nice place to grow up. It can get a bit boring, if one doesn't have hobbies or an occupation--- *COUGH, teenagers, COUGH, COUGH*. Other than that, I enjoy living in the tri-cities =).
