Music history in the making, Formed in Manchester by Johnny Marr and Morrissey, The Smiths were the definitive English Indie Rock band of the '80s. This is one of the few songs that a whole generation knows exactly where they were at the first time they heard it! It's a masterpiece an oeuvre d'art born from the geniuses of Morrissey and Johnny Marr. Morrissey's real name is Steven Patrick Morrissey, his mother was a librarian, and his father a hospital porter. Johnny Marr's real name is John Maher. Guitarist Johnny Marr left in 1987 and was found to be irreplaceable. The Smiths broke up shortly thereafter.

This song brings back so many good memories. It was a special time in my life, and I wish we had this mix back then, almost 12 minutes of How Soon Is Now would of been a God anthem on the dance floor.

My biggest compliments. This song was always a big hit on parties from teens to hey, I know that generarion, like myself and my friends. But also again made populair eventhough unfortunatly being covered, in the movie The Craft, I have about 5 albums and some 12 inch versions from the Smiths, but this version makes it so great, but it already was ofcourse.
