Yes physical gold and silver is the only way to protect yourself from the coming currency crisis. However, why turn in your precious metals to the Pin Striped Bandits at the bank, by placing it in a safe deposit box. How smart and then stupid can one get? These interviewers act like they're in 2nd grade

@vinny1010 Absolutely correct. He didn't mention silver either, which is good. Jim Rogers didn't mention silver in his hot commodities book either. Too rich for the working mans money.

more than happy to short GLD using puts. Doesn't need margin, has good leverage. When gold hits the 1700 or 1640 level it's time to use GLD calls. Paper accumulation in this game: buy the metals in hand on the dips. If your gains are big enough in paper I guess you can buy higher up & not care too.
