@spdrcrbl Couldnt they turn on the heat lamps, heat up the car. Then turn off the lamps, and then see what the temperature is? I dont think they have to be standing in the direct heat to get an exact temperature, it doesnt dissipate from the car that quickly.

@billburrsucs im not saying to put plugs on semis. but new cars should have plugs, why buy them without? the tech is available now, is my point. they have hybrids but no plugs. electric cars would save detriot. and you are a cunt.

@spdrcrbl you couldn't be touching it but you could stand under it. the radiant heat from a heat lamp would be bearable for a little bit to look it over and use a infrared thermometer.

agreed, i don't think it's a real test that they are showing. However it is nice to know that they run tests like these on new vehicles
They certainly would not be touching it at 240 F and I'm guessing that was for the video. They also wouldn't be able to have their bodies or hands under those lamps when they are at any sort of real heat.
