Yeah Biden. Raise taxes on 2% of the population. Because when you guys want to blow more money you:

1. Get it from who has it

2. Get it from a small group of people so there's less people to complain about it

This is why we need a more fair tax strucure. Any increase in taxes should be evenly spread across the taxpayer base. Maybe then more people will be concerned about how their money is being wasted.

I avoid sales tax all the time. If I buy my college books from the campus bookstore using cash, I have to pay 7% sales tax on every dollar. Same with eating in the lunch room. Now if I go to the student finances office, give them the same exact cash I could of bought books with and tell them to credit my student account, I can go to the bookstore and by the same book with the same cash tax free using my educational student account. Between buying food and books, I save $350+ a year in sales tax

Before you get on the "Green Train" espousing Obama's energy policies on YouTube, reduce your energy usage and gas by 60%. If you choose to take a bus, subway, or train instead, account for that. Remember dirty energy accounts for 60% of electricity. Cut that back too!

Yes, that sounds all nice and good, but we are not exactly in the right economic position to do green free market.

The whole idea is that sometimes free markets works miracles, but other times it fails miserably. We need to regulate the free market so they all play by the same rule and not try to bend the rules by lobbying. Alternative energy is important, but currently we do not have the infrastructure to let free market handle green energy yet since the recession.
