This game is distinct from the arcade version of Samurai Shodown 5. It has additional characters, re-composed music, animations added to backgrounds, Gaoh now morphs into a demon (which he did not do in the real arcade game) and there are now distinct endings for each character. However, this is not Samurai Shodown 5 "Special". This is basically Samurai Shodown 5 as it would have been if the programmers had time to complete it.
