I heard him do this song once at the Meadow Lands in New Jersey (early 90's).. He said a little more that night. About the bar he said, "there were mean people in there, there were Republicans in there." That explained their reaction to the outsider a little better. Great song.

This song always makes me laugh...totally reminds me of my ex-brother-in-law who thought he was a "Billy Bad-Ass." Total Napolean Complex. He had no idea that we totally made fun of him behind his back. My sister still refers to him as "Billy"
