Archie Knox the Dundee manager apparently refused to even speak to Albert Kidd after the game but unlike Terry Butcher, Stuart McCall, Jimmy Calderwood etc at least his Dundee team didn't lie down to stop Celtic winning the league
i,m 6ft tall and weigh a good 14 stone but i remember doing a fkn backflip in my living room that day listening to radio scotland,oh and i remember the front page of the daily record that morning,,,,it read,,",HEARTS CHAMPIONS! well almost", how prolific a headline THAT was lol! , although clearly it wasnt intended that way! ALBERT KIDD FOREVER IN MY HEART(S) PUN DEFINATELY INTENDED,,,,,,,,,,
Interesting point. Dundee went into the game thinking of Europe and believed at one point that Rangers were losing, hence the up-and-at-em attitude displayed. We needed a win to stay in contention. 25 years later, and I still Ferlinghetti bad fir Hearts. Only a proper shitehawk would deny that the title was rightly theirs.

Hearts went 27 games unbeaten that year prior to this game. They deserved to win it.
