Unlikely "Santa" Grants Holiday Wishes To His Community

Richard Valdez is living proof that joy comes from GIVING not Getting! Richard is a truck driver from San Jose, California who heard many stories about families in his community who were hit hard by the economy -- with tight budgets, stories about families who couldn't afford Christmas gifts for the kids broke his heart. So he took action and a unique event was unwrapped!

Volunteers and families in need connected through this special event that granted kids the gifts they otherwise wouldn't have received without Richard's good will. Everyone involved realized that connecting with others in this time of need was what Christmas was all about (not just gifts).

This story shows how one man brightened this holiday season for dozens of families -- and it didn't take a lot of money, just a lot of thoughtfulness and care.
