the countries you have listed have not had their "apparent" present form of government for very long. look at the usa.

we were a republic till the late 1800's

a democracy till the 1980's and a fascist/socialist state now.

fascism are not two extremes, they are towards total control. on one side you have anarchy and the other you have dictatorship. fascism, communism etc are on the more control end of the spectrum.

btw, all the countries you stated are under the same control.
