@bigdaddydippin Let me clarify. I've bought and used the Avalanche. It's a nice tool but it does not hold up when compared to the Snow Cutter. The Avalanche is at least twice the weight of a Snow Cutter and it is much more difficult to push through the snow. The blades are wider and not machined to a sharp edge like the Snow Cutter, the rod that holds the slider is much thicker than the cutting wire, and generally it's harder to push something up the roof than pull something down.
