@RynoAM I'd say you have a lot to learn. Who are you to judge?
Psalm 33:1 Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright. 2 Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings. 3 Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.
Sounds to me like they meet what the Lord asks for. And if you think that is "too much soloing and jamming" try listening to the songs writer, Lincoln Brewster, he is a true worshiper.
Hey Brokenpraise! I LOVE this version it ROCKS! Don't let the haters get ya down! keep doin what you do for HIS glory and it will all work out in the end. I see your heart in this , and it IS a heart of PRAISE to His Glory! Keep getting the Good News Message out to people, in words and song! God Bless your ministry! Rock on, and have a great week! =]
Huh funny, ya know it doesn't have to "feel" worshipful to be worship. Worship is for Him, not you or the congregation. There are PLENTY of songs we do that I don't particularly like and don't "feel" worshipful to me. I do them to worship Jesus NOT to please myself. It is given to Him, not to or for the congregation. If you can't find the worship in this or any other particular worship song, then maybe you should look at just why you are worshiping. Is it for Him... or for you...Just sayin...
i think we should be praising God and not ourselves. wherever we are His name should be lifted high not the band behind you on 0:47 seconds. remember
3 “You shall have no other gods before[a] me.
5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God,
