i'm guessing it's a tabletopg RPG though (well, wikipedia says so..) :/ too bad, would have loved to play it but i'm not a big fan of tabletop rpgs since they're nearly always veeery confusing xD ;w;

I have to disagree. D&D's base rules don't really have a world to go off, but grab yourself an Eberron or Forgotten Realms setting guide some time...

No, Anima has an increddble history and characters, D&D it´s only a killing game, are two differents games

For everyone asking, Anima is a tabletop RPG like Dungeons and Dragons. (The games differ alot but same idea.) You make an anime-like character and rolplay, and use dice, paper and your imagination to play.

it is a RPG system that is epicly deep and very confusing (in a good way though =]). My friends and I have had the core rule book for mabye 2 1/2 months and we still havent figured all the stuff out about it XD. 'Cause it has sooooo much stuff, its hard to put into words how awesome Anima truly is hehehe.
